Could Tlatelolco happen again?
The PRI is fighting to make a comeback.
It defends Hank Rhon with archibishops from Tijuana seemingly in his back pocket along with federal and state judges.
It prevents alliances between the other parties and defeats a divided opposition in most States even in recent days.
The PRI pushes for Eruviel Avila for the Edomex governorship and Enrique Pena Nieto for the Presidency, both of whom are tied to a ruling elite in the State of Mexico which has held political power in the entity for over 80 years and with national influence.
Enrique Pena Nieto is so closely connected with the PRI old guard from the State of Mexico that one must have some reservations about his sincerity about being from the more reform-minded faction within the PRI, and in fact one must wonder if has any Democratic credentials.
